We regret to inform you that only the ordinary passport is valid for the Vietnam E-Visa. You cannot use any of the documents you listed to apply for a Vietnam E-Visa:
ID Certificate:
Vietnam E-Visas strictly require a valid passport. ID certificates, regardless of the issuing country, are not a substitute for a passport.
Green Card:
A Green Card (US Permanent Resident Card) only demonstrates your legal residency status within the United States. It is not a travel document and doesn’t replace a passport.
OCI (Overseas Citizen of India):
An OCI card grants certain rights and travel freedoms within India but is not recognized as a valid travel document for international travel to Vietnam.
Temporary/Emergency Passport:
Temporary or Emergency passports are not applicable for the Vietnam E-Visa.
Those who are holding this type of passport can apply for the Visa on arrival or get the Visa at the Vietnam Embassy/Consulate.
The acceptance of temporary or emergency passports varies by country. You’ll need to check with the Vietnamese embassy or consulate directly to determine if they will accept your specific type of temporary/emergency passport.
BNO passport:
A British National Overseas passport, which is a type of passport issued to people who were British overseas territories citizens by connection with Hong Kong before the transfer of sovereignty to China in 1997. It is not valid for the Vietnam E-Visa application. To enter Vietnam with this type of passport, you can apply for the Vietnam Visa on arrival or get the Visa at the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate.
To sum up, only the ordinary/popular passport can be applied for the E-Visa to enter.
