There are 3 ways to apply for a Vietnam Visa for South Korea citizens: Apply Vietnam E-Visa, apply for Visa on Arrival or apply Visa at Vietnamese Embassy.
1. Applying Vietnam Visa at Vietnam Embassy
There is a Vietnam Embassy in South Korea where you can apply for a Visa at.

Applicants can submit documents in person at the specific Vietnam Embassy or apply by mail to the Embassy.
2. Applying Vietnam Electronic Visa online (Vietnam E-Visa)
From August 15th, 2023, Vietnam grants E-Visa for citizens from all countries and territories. South Korea passport holders can apply for the E-Visa to enter Vietnam through an E-Visa online system.
3. Applying Vietnam Visa online (Vietnam Visa on arrival)
For those who live far from the Vietnam Embassy in South Korea and do not wish to send away their passport, a Vietnam visa on arrival is a good choice. Instead of getting a visa directly at the Vietnam Embassy, you will end up picking up your visa at one of Vietnam International Airports.
How to apply for a Tourist Vietnam visa on arrival?
Applying for a Tourist Visa on arrival to Vietnam requires to get a Visa approval letter in advance through a travel agent or to book a tour to Vietnam.

- Step 1. Complete the Vietnam visa online application form
- Step 2: Make payment of service fee online
- Step 3: Get the approval letter via email
- Step 4. Get visa stamped upon arrival at Vietnam airport

You only need to provide a Passport data page image to get the Visa approval letter.
And prepare 2 passport-sized portrait photos to bring to Vietnam to get a Visa stamp upon arrival.
How long South Korea passport holders can stay in Vietnam with a tourist Visa on arrival?
It can be valid for up to 30 days with single or multiple-entry.

Vietnam Visa on arrival fee for South Korea passport holders varies depending on the agency, and the processing time you choose. It typically ranges from US$79 to US$200. Applicants can be charged additional fees if they want to get the Vietnam Visa approval letter in a rush.
How to apply for a Business Vietnam visa on arrival?
Only eligible for South Korea passport holders who will enter Vietnam for business working with a company in Vietnam and already have a valid sponsor company in Vietnam.
The process of Getting Business Visa on arrival (DN visa):
- Step 1. Complete the Vietnam visa online
- Step 2: Make payment of service fee online
- Step 3: Send all required documents and submit to Government website by Sponsor company
- Step 4: Get the approval letter via email
- Step 5. Get visa stamped upon arrival at a Vietnam airport

- Sponsor company’s token USB
- Notarized business license copy
- Passport scan with company stamp
- The staff of your company in Vietnam who has contract with this company/organization will present at the Vietnam Immigration office (if required)
How long South Korea passport holders can stay in Vietnam with a Business Visa on arrival?
You can stay in Vietnam for up to 90 days with single or multiple-entry.

In addition to a valid visa for Vietnam, travelers with South Korea passports should meet the following Vietnam entry requirements:
- South Korea passport should be valid for at least 6 month following arrival date in Vietnam;
- South Korea passport has at least 2 blank pages.
